Randall J. Mitchell, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the age of 44. Randy was employed with Honeywell in Geismar, LA. He was a loving husband, son and brother who will be missed dearly by those who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sonya Mitchell; parents, Michael and Jeanette Mitchell; brothers, Michael Mitchell Jr. and wife Kim, and Jeff Mitchell; nephews, Layton and Logan Mitchell; and uncle, Ben Frasca. Randy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Beatrice Mitchell; and maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Elvirtha Frasca. Visitation will be held Friday, August, 16, 2013 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 12 pm until funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
