Raye Lynn Galtier

Raye Lynn Zeringue Galtier: A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, Raye Lynn Zeringue Galtier passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. A fun-loving, vibrant personality allowed Lynn to be a shining star to her family, friends, and colleagues. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, she attended Baton Rouge High School and began a long, successful career in retail sales. Her joie de vivre was evident in her love of hats, dancing, painting, and cooking. Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Rae Boudreaux Zeringue, and her father, Harold Lynn Zeringue. She is survived by her husband Jimmie Galtier, Sr.; children, Wayne and Kaye Guelfo, Michael and Tammy Guelfo, and Julie Guelfo Sherrill; beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Allie, Mikey Guelfo, and Alex Sherrill; and sister, Bridget Zeringue Plauche and husband Dale; stepchildren, Petey Ann Teel, Jimmy, Jr. and April Galtier, Bonnie Galtier, and Cinnamon and Robbie McKey; step-grandchildren, Rance and Annie Teel, Brittany Filo, MJ Dinino, Dylan Gilbert, Ian, Ella, and Abbie Rodehorst. Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2pm with services at 3pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
