Raymond E Jenkins

Raymond EL Jenkins passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012. He was 77. A native of Plumberville, Ark., he had been an active member of the Baton Rouge community since 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ella Mae Jenkins, who were of Plumberville; and daughter, Roxanne Jenkins Withers. He is survived by his wife, Fritzi Harnisch Jenkins; daughter, Connie Jenkins; two stepdaughters, Sherri Wilson, of Mandeville, and Kimberly Berry, of Niceville, Fla.; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Stone, of Greenbriar, Ark.; son-in-law, Jimmy Withers; three grandsons, Nicholas, Nathan and C. Luke Withers; three stepgranddaughters, Kimberly R. Kornahrens, Taylor Berry and Cassidy Berry; two nephews, Mike Stone and wife Bev, of Little Rock, Ark., and Tim Stone and wife Jeanne, of Russellville, Ark.; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. Raymond was a retired employee of Farm Bureau Insurance. Visitation for family and friends will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, May 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 2, from 8 a.m. until services at 10 a.m., conducted by Kiffin Luce. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Withers, Nicholas Withers, C. Luke Withers, Darrell Wales and Leroy James.
