
Rebecca Warren LaCour died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 72. Becky was a resident of Baton Rouge for the past 42 years and native of Enterprise, Ala. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Samuel Lard LaCour; sons, Samuel Linton LaCour and his wife, Sarita, and their daughter, Jennifer, of Allen, Texas, and David Warren LaCour, of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Linton Jr. and Marjorie Darling Warren, who were of Enterprise; sister, Lucy Warren, who was of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Darling, who were of Andalusia, Ala.; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Linton Warren Sr., who were of Enterprise. She proudly graduated with honors from the University of Alabama, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority and Kappa Delta Pi National Honor Society. Visiting will be at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, 10230 Mollylea Drive, Thursday, Aug. 18, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
