

Rhonda Hubert Wyckoff was entrusted to God’s loving care on October 6, 2016 at the age of 55. Born on January 17, 1961 she was a native of Baker, La. and a longtime resident of Greenwell Springs, La. She was retired from the State of Louisiana Dept. of Agriculture with 20 years’ service. Since “retiring”, she has worked tirelessly at First Parish Transportation alongside her husband. A loving mother and wife, she enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends. She was a long time member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memories are her one true love and husband of 27 years Keith Robert Wyckoff, their sons Robert Keith Wyckoff and Michael Gerald Wyckoff. She is also survived by her three brothers and their wives, Edmond Gerald Hubert, Jr. ‘Jerry” and wife Brenda, Donald Ray Hubert and wife Cassie, Steve Edward Hubert and wife Julie, mother in law Peg Paul and husband Tom Fillebrown, sister in law Cheryl Saleem and husband Sam, brother in laws G. Richard Wyckoff, Jr. and Kevin Wyckoff. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including her most beloved niece and surrogate daughter Jennifer Hubert House and her best friend and confidante from childhood Wendy Verret Schwartzenburg who were both a great source of comfort to her during her illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Edmond Gerald Hubert, Sr. and Shirley Burton Hubert and father in law G. Richard Wyckoff, Sr.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge from 5 – 9 pm on Monday October 10, 2016. There will also be visitation Tuesday October 11, 2016 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church at 2311 N. Sherwood Forest Drive Baton Rouge. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am by Father Michael Moroney of St. Alphonsus. The burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. Respite celebrations to follow at The Reception Center at Greenoaks, all are invited.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Hubert, Donald Hubert, Steve Hubert, Vincent Owens, Sheldon Chaney and Scott Wyckoff and Honorary pallbearer Drew Hubert.
