Richard Bernard Frickie was born on May 24, 1943. He passed away on May 10, 2017 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Janie Eisworth Frickie, to whom he was married to for 42 years; his mother, Verna Lanoux Frickie; and his brother Randy Frickie. He is preceded in death by his father, Philip Ray Frickie. Richard was a graduate of Istrouma High School, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He quickly perfected the art of retirement when he left Copolymer Chemical and Rubber Company, Addis in 1998. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until memorial service begins at 12pm. on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA. Following the service there will be a reception at the Greenoaks Reception Center. The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
