Richard P. Langlois passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the age of 90. He was a native of Chenal, LA. and a resident of Baton Rouge. He retired from Ethyl Corporation as an operator. Visitation will resume Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church starting at 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. He is survived by 2 Sons, Barry L Langlois and wife Cheryl, Keith C Langlois,4 Daughters, Julie L Leader, husband Joe, Lisa L Longmire, husband Royce Jr, Jerri L Gerald, husband Scott, Annette L Dinecola, husband Mike,Grandchildren; Monica Ullrich, Kimberly Warrington, Dwayne and Byron Leader, Jeremy Langlois, April Kimball, Shannon Darsam, Krystal, Eric and Cynthia Longmire, Melissa O' Bryant, Heather Fontenot, Mikelyn Smith and Faith Dinecola, great-grandchildren: Ryan, Emma&Amy Ullrich, Devin&Darian Leader, Cameron&Seth Kimball, Connor, Lillian&Gabriel Burks, Dean O' Bryant, Ethen and Elliot Marie Smith, Brayton Dinecola, Gordon Warrington, and expected twins Colton and Kaylee Fontenot. He was preceded in death by; His loving wife Rita Marie Fabre Langlois, Son, Richard A. "Dickie" Langlois, Father and Mother Roselus and Georgina Guidroz Langlois, baby sister Julie Mae, Brothers Elmo and Raymond Langlois. Pallbearers will be: Mark Ullrich, Jeremy Langlois, Micheal Fontenot, Eric Longmire, Byron Leader and Blake Smith. We would like to thank his caretaker Betty for her excellent care and Barry and Denise of South Louisiana Hospice for their excellent care.
