Richard D. Martrain passed away on April 7, 2019 at the age of 68. Ricky was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Denham Springs. He retired from Turner Industries and was previous Owner, Manager of Quality Produce Company.
Ricky leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Betty Jean, 3 sons, Shane, George and his wife Lynsey and Matthew. God has Blessed him with 5 grandchildren, Landon, Tanner, Gavin, Lucas and Kylie. Mother, Enola Martrain and brother, Dale, his wife Cindy and their daughters, Shannon and Kristina, her husband Jim and their children, Steven and Gabby, and numerous nieces, nephews and "Coozans".
Preceded in death by his father, Sam "Bo-Bo" Martrain, paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Sarah Martrain and maternal grandparents, Clifton and Stella Norton.
Ricky's love was restoring classic cars, chatting and posting with his family and friends and making memories with his grandchildren. Ricky adored his grandchildren and each were special to him in their own way. He also loved his LSU Tigers sports and the LSU Lady Tigers Softball.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Florida Blvd. Wednesday, April 10th, 5-9 p.m. to reminisce and support each other. The visitation on Thursday, April 11th will be at 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m.
