Riley Joseph Gremillion

A resident of Greenwell Springs and a native of Baton Rouge passed August 3, 2012 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary at age 70. He was a retired computer data analyst programmer with Union National Life Insurance Company and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Usher Society and was a member of the Pride Volunteer Fire Department. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 pm. Visiting will continue at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, Monday, August 6, 2012 from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am celebrated by Rev. Michael Maroney. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Theresa Paline Gremillion, daughter, Katherine Gremillion Wesley and husband Robert Wesley; son, Robert Paul Gremillion and wife Kim Watts Gremillion; two sisters, Claire Gremillion and Linda Gremillion Polk and husband C. Randall Polk; grandchildren, Cameron, Daniel and Emily Rose Wesley and R. William and Morgan Elizabeth Gremillion. Preceded in death by his parents, Riley Joseph Gremillion Sr. and Alla Mae Novo Gremillion. Pallbearers will be Dennis (Nikki) St. Romain, Norris Joseph St. Romain Jr., Steven St. Romain, Tim Novo, Clay Polk, Cameron Michael Wesley, Daniel Joseph Wesley, R. William Gremillion and Eric Lieux. The St. Alphonsus Ushers are honorary pallbearers.
