

Rinaldo “Lenny” Orifice, native of New Haven, CT and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on May 13, 2023 at the age of 76. Lenny proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged after becoming sick from Agent Orange. Lenny moved to New York and began working as a set transporter for Broadway Shows. He then moved to Hollywood, California and ran Hollywood Center Studios as the Film Set Manager for many years. There he met the love of his life, Kay, and they started Premier Delivery, where they were very successful, working with actresses such as Patty LaBelle. After many years working with film sets, Lenny and Kay made the decision to move to St. Francisville, LA. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family and friends, refurbishing antiques, and traveling. Lenny is survived by his wife of 35 years, Frances “Kay” Anselmo; five step-children, Ted Thibodeaux (Debbie Evans), Benay Thomas (Leroy), Darryle Thibodeaux (Linda), Dona Bourque (Blake), and Brenda Kyzar (Michael); four sisters, Maria Warner, Patricia Santos, Barbara Franco, and Jacqueline Roy; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Orifice, Sr. and Maria Savinelli Orifice; three children, Sherry Orifice, Rinaldo Orifice, Jr., and Michael Orifice; and his siblings, Immaculate Granata, John Orifice, Jr., and Rosemary Brezicki. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 11 am until funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery.
