
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she died Monday, March 9, 2009, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 84, a native of New Roads and a graduate of Poydras High School. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, March 10, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Sam Maranto, celebrant. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by her husband, Richard P. Langlois; four daughters, Julie Leader and husband Joseph, Lisa Longmire and husband Royce, Jerri Gerald and husband Scott, and Annette Dinecola and husband Mike; two sons, Barry Langlois and wife Cheryl, and Keith Langlois; sister, Clara Fabre Murphy; 14 grandchildren, Monica Langlois Ullrich, Kimberly Langlois Warrington, Dwayne and Byron Leader, Jeremy Langlois, April Langlois Kimball, Shannon Longmire Burks, Krystal Longmire, Eric Longmire, Cynthia Farmer, Melissa O'Bryant, Heather Crisp and Mikelyn and Faith Dinecola; 12 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Emma and Amy Ullrich, Gordon Warrington, Devin and Darian Leader, Cameron and Seth Kimball, Connor, Lillian and Gabriel Burks and Ethen Smith; and three stepgreat-grandchildren, Wesley, Gabriel and Elizabeth O'Bryant. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. "Dickie" Langlois; parents, Joseph and Denise Didier Fabre; four brothers, Lloyd, Hubert, Allen and Joseph Fabre Jr.; two sisters, Florence Mix and Bernice Guerin; two half sisters, Emma Didier and Julia Fabre; and two half brothers, Jules Fabre and Clement Fabre. Pallbearers will be Dwayne and Byron Leader, Jeremey Langlois, Eric Longmire, Mark Ullrich and Ted Burks. Special thanks and love to our sister, Lisa for her care, support and devotion to our mother and father during our mother's illness, and special thanks to Jackie Jordan, Dovetta Carter, Theresa Leonard and the staff of Hospice of Baton Rouge.
