

Robert Preston Albert, 84 years old, passed away peacefully at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice In Baton Rouge on June 19, 2014.His kindness, laughter, and love will be dearly missed by all those who loved him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Dey, and his parents, Roy and Gladys Albert. He is survived by his four children. His son, Steve Albert and Ann. His daughter, Valerie and Wess Fulmer and their three daughters: Kristian Spiller, Lacy Fulmer, and Courtney Fulmer. His daughter, Judy and Johnny Bryant, and their two daughters: Ginny Bryant and Christina Prescott Cruz. His son, Timothy and Joan Albert and their children: Robin, Madelyn, Elijah, and Ethan. He has 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Bettie White and her husband, the late Rev. Marvin White and their children: Buddy, Kim, and Lisa. Lois and Jack Huddle and their children: Jeff, Jackie, and Mimi. Joyce and Russel Richardson and their daughter Debbie. He is also survived by one cousin, Lorraine Phelps. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force, and retired from Texaco Oil Refinery. There will be a wake on Sunday, June 22 from 4-6 P.M. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Florida Blvd. Visitation will be held at 10-11 A.M. at St. George Catholic Church followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11 A.M.
