Robert “Bob” Allen Sprouse, a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the age of 66. Bob was an avid fisherman, US Air Force veteran, member of the VFW and Bassmasters, a follower and fan of the Alabama “Roll Tide”, but most importantly a loving husband, father, brother and friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Bob was survived by his wife, Louise; mother, Hestelle Sprouse; daughter, Christy Hilbun and her husband Farrell and her daughter Sena; son, Douglas Sprouse and wife Lacey and his children Damien and Lily Sprouse; brother, Randy Sprouse and wife Diana; and sister, Deborah White and husband Elton. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Sprouse; and first wife, Sheila Sprouse. A graveside service will be held in Greenoaks Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 17, beginning at 11:00 am followed by interment.
