He was 44, a native of Baton Rouge and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Survived by his wife, Brandy Durbin Bonney; mother, Martha S. Bonney; two daughters, Emma Marie and Lauren Elizabeth Bonney; grandmother, Laura Eiland; niece, Allison Cason; two nephews, Cameron and Blake Cason; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Garnett W. Bonney; two sisters, Lisa B. Cason and Marla Kaye Bonney; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Smith; and paternal grandfather, Howard Eiland. Pallbearers will be Josh Bourque, Glenn Durbin, Milton Boetehout, Darrell Cornelius, Jimmie Jeffrey and Butch Smith.
