

Robert (Bobby) Frank Keebler, a native of Ocean Springs, MS, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Baton Rouge General Hospital at the age of 86. Bobby Keebler attended Istrouma High School and graduated from Baton Rouge Vocational School as an Electrical/TV Technician. He worked many years for Kirby-Bowers TV and Electric and later established Keebler TV and Electronics in 1975, which he owned and operated until retirement in 1994. He then committed all his time to his passion: caring for his family and all of God's creatures. Any furry friend that would visit was invited to take residence in his menagerie. Bobby was kind, caring, and helpful in any way needed to everyone he met. He led by example and not only taught his daughters how to respect and care for others, but also how to be the automotive, electrical, and mechanical "domestic engineers" he felt they should be to stand on their own. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Burt Keebler, his mother Verna McIntyre Keebler, his brothers Daniel (Dan) Keebler and William (Billy) Keebler, his mother-in-law Isabell Flores Gibson, his father-in-law James F. Gibson, and his sister-in-law Evelyn Gibson Wales. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jimmie Lea Gibson Keebler, his daughter Deborah (Debi) Faucette and her husband Lee, his daughter Susan Keebler and son-in-law Jay Gross, his precious granddaughters Natalie Jane Faucette and Stephanie Faucette Gremillion, his grandson-in-law Jason Gremillion, his step-granddaughter Elizabeth Huggins and her husband Jonathan, his step-granddaughter Mary Bounds and her husband Michael, and great-grandson Kyle Huggins. He is also survived by his sister Janice Peterson and her husband Roy, his sister Jeanette Randolph, his brother Gerald (Jerry) Keebler and his wife Mary Jane, his brothers-in-law Kenneth Gibson and E.J. Wales, and many loving nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Isidore Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gibson, Lee Faucette, Jay Gross, John Wales III, Michael Bounds, and Tim Lamonica. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Keebler, Roy Peterson, Jonathan Huggins, Jason Gremillion, Kyle Huggins, and Louis Banks.
