Robert D. Lee, Jr.

"Robert "Bob" Lee passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2016 at the age of 63. Bob was born in Springfield, MO on May 15, 1953. He was a long time resident of Dallas, TX, and moved to Baton Rouge in 2006 to be closer to his daughter Jennifer and grandson Charlie, whom he considered the "sunshine, moon, and stars of his life". He enjoyed the outdoors, was a talented golfer, and loved to barbeque for family and friends. He found joy in visiting his grandson for lunch at the St Aloysius School cafeteria, and working side by side with his daughter in real estate. He will always be remembered as a caring, loving, and generous friend. Bob is survived by his mother, Mary Lee of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Jennifer Waguespack and son-in-law Todd Waguespack, and grandsons, Charlie Williamson and Jack Henry Waguespack, all of Baton Rouge; brother, Jim Lee and sister-in-law Carol Marie Lee, and their children, John and Monica Lee all of Dallas, TX; sister, Liz Savoy and brother-in-law Ron Savoy, and their two children, Matt Savoy and his wife Shannon, and Danielle Savoy, all of Dallas TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Lee, Sr. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Downtown Baton Rouge beginning at 10:00 a.m. until a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Online condolences can be offered at www.rabenhorst.com.
