"Robert "Bob" L. Navo, Sr. passed away Saturday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 87. Born on March 13, 1930 in New Orleans, Bob was a resident of Baton Rouge since 1968. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and a member of the Church Choir. Survived by his wife Virgie W. Navo, they had three sons Robert, Jr. (Ginny), Barry (Barbie) and Gary, Sr.(Suzy), and six grandchildren: Gary, Jr., Damon, Oliver (Lauren) and Alexander (Brooke), Amber and Caitlin. Bob was passionate about his family, sports, fishing and woodworking. Bob was a very outgoing man with many long-term friendships formed at church, Foxy's fitness center, and throughout the community. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church starting at 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas More Church.
