Robert R. Ringo

Robert Ray Ringo a native of Baton Rouge, LA. and resident of Schriever, LA., passed away on Friday, January 6th, 2017 at 9:45pm at the age of 55. Robert was very outgoing, kind and caring. He was one of those people, whom after meeting for the first time, you felt like you have known for years. He was always looking for a smile or laugh out of everyone. Those who new Robert can attest, he had his father's strong work ethic and his mother's selfless, caregiver personality, often putting the needs of others above his own. Robert was a true entrepreneur. Throughout his work career he owned a restaurant, a roofing company and a construction remodeling company. His hobbies included fast pitch softball, hunting, fishing and auto racing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lena Ringo and Adam and Violet St. Romain. He is survived by his parents, A.C. "Sonny" Ringo and Mary Ethel Ringo; Brothers, John A. Ringo and wife, Sheila, Michael J. Ringo and wife, Carrie, Frank A. Ringo and wife, Laura; Wife, Victoria Bongiovanni Ringo and wife from a previous marriage, Debbie Etheridge; Children and step-children, Trais Ringo, Amanda Ott, Kristin Ringo, Madison Cheek, Jacob and Justin Berthelot, David and Derrek Johnson and Christy Ogden; Godchildren, Lauren Ringo and Brandon Ringo; Eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; Pallbearers will be Bill Hawkins, Josh Booty, David Johnson, Chris Ringo, Dylan Ringo and Justin Berthelot. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 10th from 10:00 am until funeral service begins at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
