Robert "Bob" Arnell Tarver

Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, and sharing jokes with those around him. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and close friends. His kindness, sense of humor, and love for others will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Robert “Bobby” David Tarver, Lonnie Tarver, and Donavan Tarver (Dina); grandchildren, Kamron, Chris, Joel, Jeremy, Greg, Hayley, Tristen, Kacy, Trent, Trey, Tara, and Gracie; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Linder Mae Tarver; his wives, Mary Zumo and Bobbie Carter; daughter, Lawana Lachney; and siblings, TJ Tarver and Juanita Nash.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dreams Come True of Louisiana.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders, both professional and civilian, as well as the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for their tireless efforts, compassionate care, and dedication. Their kindness, professionalism, and support during this difficult time will always be deeply appreciated.
