Roddy John Boudreaux passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on February 26, 1946, in Napoleonville, LA, as was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Roddy is survived by his wife, Ruby Pecot; children, Blane Boudreaux (Jamie), Brandi Putnam (Brett), Wayne Davis (Shannon), Blake Boudreaux (Sherry), and Brooklyn Albin (Todd Sanford); grandchildren, Erin (Tyler), Hayden (Lauren), Dylan, Blaise, Victoria, Zann, Caden (Nya), Titus (Alicia), Amelia, and Henry; great-granddaughter, Audrey and coming soon, Hallie; sisters, Margaret Ann, Bernadette (Tommy), and Veronica; and a host of other family members and friends.
Roddy is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Boudreaux; son, Roddy Jr.; parents, Richard and Vivian; brother, Richard, Jr.; and sister, Celine. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 9am until the funeral service at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
