Rodney Joseph Bergeron Sr., native of Napoleonville and resident of Central, LA., passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Bergeron earned a Masters of Electrical Engineering and was a member of the American Legion Post 401. He also served in the Air Force. He is survived by his fiancé’, Jeanne Singleton; daughters, Deborah Bergeron Brouillette and husband David, Yvette Bergeron Guillory and husband Mark and Suzette Bergeron Toups; two sons, Rodney J. Bergeron Jr. and Eric M. Bergeron; sister, Ella Marie Williams; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death are; wife, Judith Fossier Bergeron, parents Felix and Dollie Bergeron, brother, Richard Bergeron and grandchildren, Brandon Brouillette and Angel Bergeron. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6:00pm-9:00pm with the rosary at 7pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 10:00am until service time of 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
