Roger G. Broussard

Roger George Broussard, 62, native of Cottonport, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. A graduate of the L.S.U. Law Center, he was active in the oil and gas industry for many years and was a practicing attorney with the Riche Law Firm.

Roger is survived by two daughters, Dr. Kelly Broussard of Austin, TX and Morgan Broussard of Memphis, TN; son Thomas Joseph Broussard of Baton Rouge; parents, Thomas George and Elaine Gauthier Broussard; and former wife Jane Bordelon Broussard. He is preceded in death by his sister Julie Broussard Comeaux.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge. The funeral mass at 10:30 will be conducted by Father Michael Alello. Interment will be on the grounds of Greenoaks Funeral Home. A reception at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish Activity Center will follow the burial.
