

Patin, Jr., Roger VincentA native and resident of Baton Rouge, Roger attended Metro Enterprises for the last 12 years. Roger died at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the age of 64. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Dec. 3rd, from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation resumes on Friday, Dec. 4th, from 10 am until religious services at 11 am conducted by Deacon Don Musso. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his four sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and Dean Roussel, Anne and Mike Robinson, Margaret and Dennis Peters, and Denise and Johnny Gaines; a brother, Sammy Patin; nieces and nephews, Bridget Roussel Peters and husband Trey, Ashley Robinson Knapps, Micah Robinson and wife Misty, Eric Peters, Natalie Gaines, and Jared Gaines and wife Katie; great-nieces and nephews, Baileigh Hughes, Ashlyn Peters, Peyton, Grace and Jude Knapps, Gabriella and Kensley Robinson, and Sutton Gaines; and caregiver and family friend, George Foreman. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Roger V. "Mike" Patin, Sr. and Audrey Morel Patin; and infant twin nieces, Carleigh and Madelyn Peters. Pallbearers will be Dennis Peters, Micah Robinson, Jared Gaines, Eric Peters, Trey Peters and Ben Harger. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Roussel, Mike Robinson, Johnny Gaines, Jude Knapps, Jay Farmer and George Foreman. The family offers special thanks to Dr. Mary Raven and her staff with the Palliative Medicine Service, his home health nurse, Dusty Hinton, and the staff and friends at Metro Enterprises. Roger loved to play his guitar, listen to music, dancing, and enjoyed watching TV.
