Ronald Webb Petty died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. He was born Aug. 26, 1950, in Baton Rouge. He was an accountant and a graduate of Baker High School and LSU. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., on Friday, Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his mother, Helen W. Petty; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Charles Templeton and Sharon and Thomas Beard, all of Baton Rouge; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Vernon Petty and Carol Petty, of Phoenix; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Spec Vernon Petty.
