A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Ormond Nursing and Care Facility, Destrehan. She was 86, a former resident of Norco, parishioner of St. George Catholic Church and past member of Court St. George of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by four daughters, Gail Ann Yoes and husband Patrick, of Norco, Janice Margaret Baker and husband Everard, of Natchez, Miss., Connie Marie Widner and husband Jeffery, of Baton Rouge, and Melissa Elizabeth Mistric and husband Mark, of Walker; brother, Clifford Simon, of Algiers; 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Monroe Prescott Jr.; and two sons, Darrell Thomas Prescott and Glenn Michael Prescott. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment in the church mausoleum.
