"Fear not for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are mine." Isaiah 43.1. Rose Mary O'Brien Jones, born Sept. 16, 1927, in New Orleans. She was a resident of Gonzales and Landmark of Baton Rouge Nursing Home. Rose arrived home Dec. 14, 2011. She was welcomed home by her father, Charles Lewis O'Brien Sr.; mother, Isabella Myra Cunliffe O'Brien; brother, Charles Lewis O'Brien Jr.; former husband, Elton Cline Jones; and numerous family members. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. until the religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dave Buss. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rose will be greatly missed by daughters, Cheryl Jones Burton and husband Elmo B., and Deborah Jones Norwood and husband David Neal; three granddaughters, Ashley Barnes and husband Scott, Jennifer Lynn and husband Joe, Jessica Stevens and husband Cody; six great-grandchildren, Brennan, Bailey and Bryce Henry, Ashton Barnes, and Alexis and Avery Stevens; and sister: Mrs. Beverly O'Brien Cannaday.
