Rose Marie Mancuso, a beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on February 15, 1944, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, Rose spent her life rooted in faith and family. She was a longtime resident of St.Amant Louisiana.
A devout Catholic, Rose prayed the rosary daily and lived her life guided by grace and devotion. She worked for many years in retail, where she was known for her warm smile and caring nature. After retirement, she enjoyed spending her days shopping, visiting the casino, and, most importantly, cherishing time with her family.
Rose especially loved dancing at the weddings of her many nieces and nephews. Her joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Annie (Cashio) Mancuso, and her sisters, Lucy Bueche and Tena LeJeune. She is survived by her brother, PJ Mancuso, and her sister, Joan Mancuso Savoy, as well as a large and devoted family of nieces, nephews, and extended relatives who will miss her dearly.
Services for Rose will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, at Holy Rosary Church in St. Amant. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass and burial.
Rose’s faith, laughter, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by those blessed to have known her.
