
She suffers no more. She passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was 61 years old, a resident of Denham Springs and originally from Baton Rouge. Rose was a wonderful cook who loved life and time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving daughter, Rayette Blanchard and husband Randy, of Denham Springs; loving son, Troy Lewis and wife Carissa, of Pocahontas, Ark.; grandchildren, Nicole Lewis, Michel Lewis and Blake Blanchard; loving brother, Brezeale Joseph ÒBJÓ Marino, of Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews, Tracey Woods, Jimmy Woods, Dana Carpenter and Tony Cotton; and special friend, Jackie Marino, of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony M. and Hilda E. Marino; and sisters, Frances L. Woods and Dorothy Gail Cotton. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Monday, Oct. 18, from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 5 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Maroney. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Harvest Manor, Cassandra and Annie with South Care Hospice and Jamie with Compasses Hospice.
