Rose C. Richardson

Rose C. Richardson, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Hammond, LA, passed away at her home on December 5, 2014 at the age of 96. She was an avid LSU fan. Rose is survived by a son-in-law, EJ Bourgeois, Jr.; grandchildren, Debbie Worsham, Stanley “Ray” McKinney, Jr. and wife, Cammie, Cindy Lambert and husband, Darrell, Kelly Bourgeois, Mikki Guillaume, EJ “Scooter” Bourgeois and wife, Lisa; great-grandchildren, Danny Major, Jr. and fiancé’, Shay, Chris Capello, Corey Hergruder, Tyler Spellman, Lynzi Spellman, Mason Bourgeois, Sommer Worsham, Brianna McKinney, and Carter Bourgeois; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Virginia O’Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Richardson; and 2 daughters, Mary Clarke and Carolyn Bourgeois. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Carter Cemetery in Springfield, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help offset funeral costs.
