Rosemary Politz passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born on March 24, 1935, in Napoleonville, LA, and was a resident of St. Martinville, LA. Rosemary was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She spent hours of devoted service there. She loved her church family and was deeply devoted to them. Rosemary was kind, loving and giving. Those who knew her felt her warming friendship. Rosemary, affectionately known as “Aunt Ro”, is survived by 25 nieces and nephews, who mourn her loss but are grateful for her presence in their lives. While she had no children of her own, she had all of us. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, Antonino and Virginia Politz; siblings, Samuel Politz, Odette Barras, Josephine Maraist, Lena Hernandez, Rita Chauvin, Gloria Talbot, Virginia Ann Triche, and Henry Politz. Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2250 Main St., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
