A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 85 and a native of Port Allen. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, April 6, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Collins. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by three sons, Bill E. Alford, Bob J. Alford and Barry Alford; three sisters, Betty Doucet, Rita Estes and Verna Lemoine; three brothers, Bobby Lemoine, Oscar "Slick" Lemoine and Steve Lemoine; nine grandchildren, Dawn, Kelli, Sarah, Matt, Kyle, Bradley, Regina, Rachael and Barry Alford Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren, Cameron, Landon, Tatum, Mike, Kelton, Connor, Theresa, Erin and Kayla. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
