A retired registered nurse, she died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at her home in Denham Springs. She was 91 and a native of Texas. Graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, at 2 p.m. Monday, April 19. Survived by a daughter, Janis Kay Babin; son, Larry Clark Babin; sister, Cora Era Wakefield; six grandchildren, Micah, Matthew, Mitchell and Meredith Martello, Miranda Guillot and Melissa Morales; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Victor Babin.
