A retired purchasing secretary with Exxon Co. USA with 33 years of service, she passed away at her residence in Baton Rouge on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009. She was 96, born at Trinity Plantation in Rosedale. Visiting at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Paul McDuffie, celebrant. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis "Bob" Burdick; and 12 siblings.
