Ruth Willie Peters

A retail manager and resident of Deer Park, Texas, she died after a lengthy illness on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 1:32 a.m. in Deer Park, Tx. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, July 13, 2012, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Father Tom Duhe. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Dell and husband George, of Greenwell Springs, and Mrs. Kathy Gibbs and husband Johnny, of Deer Park, Texas; sons, Stephen Peters Sr., and Dennis Peters and wife Margaret, all of Baton Rouge; and grandchildren, Sonya Cureton, Stephen Peters Jr., Becky Faulkner, Amy Tuminello, Michelle Aucoin, Kristie Threadgill, Julie Dell, Tony Gibbs and Eric Peters. Preceded in death by her husband, P.M. Peters; son, David Peters; grandson, Daniel Dell; and great-grandson, James Dell Tuminello. Pallbearers will be Tony Gibbs, Eric Peters, Stephen Peters Jr., Stephen Faulkner, Arthur Gibbs, Howard Willie, Thomas Willie and Norwood Willie Jr. A special thanks to the staff at San Jacinto Manor Nursing Home and Ahmed Hospice in Deer Park, Texas, for their loving care and compassion.
