A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, she died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at the age of 70. Visitation will be at Bethany World Prayer Center Chapel, Baker, on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Ellis. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Royal Fleming Sr.; three sons, Warren Fleming and wife Vernita Victoria, Royal Fleming Jr., and Todd Carnell Fleming and wife Amanda Davis Fleming; two sisters, Louella L. Johnson and husband Samuel, and Carrie L. Reed and husband Burke; two brothers, Joseph Leonard Jr. and wife Janice, and Nathan Leonard and wife Margaret; aunt, Artimise Ramagos; uncle, Howard Stull; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by four sisters-in-law, Enola Smith, Joyce Purdy, Brenda Miles and Hillary Carter; brother-in-law, Frank Purdy; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leonard Sr. and Virginia Louis Leonard; and sister, Josephine L. Battley. Arrangements by Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St.
