

Mrs. Wlliam K. Gremillion
A loving mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the age of 86. Dee was born in Moreauville, LA, and was the ninth of 10 children. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. She had a passion for playing bridge and dancing with her husband, Dub. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 2205 Main St. in Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 9, 2013, from 11 AM until funeral mass at 1 PM conducted by Fa. Mike Collins of St. Jude. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Dee is preceded in death by her husband, William K. “Dub” Gremillion; and one daughter, Nora Mackler. She is survived by nine children, Susan Schott and husband, Tommy, Bill Gremillion and wife, Janet, Robert Gremillion, Janel Gendron, Nancy Kora and husband, Steve, Marsha Blackmon and husband, Bo, Laura Brown and husband, Richard, Darleen Dias and husband, John, and John Gremillion; “Meme” to 21 grandchildren, Tanya Mattek, Stuart and Ben Schott, Will, Sarah, and Chris Gremillion, Jennifer and Mark Gendron, Laurie Martin, Stephen, Scott, and Cherie Kora, Bret and Kelly Blackmon, Michael and Aaron Mackler, Stephanie, Tim, and Alan Brown, Jay and Nicholas Dias; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Clyde Coco. She is also preceded in death by her two sons-in-law, Kenny Gendron and John Mackler; parents, Wilmore and Sarah Leet Coco; eight siblings, Ronald, Rodney, Lamar, and W.A. Coco, Thelma Jordan, Lillian Mason, Flossie Horan, and Genevieve Christy. Pallbearers will be Tom Schott, Steve Kora, Bo Blackmon, Richard Brown, John Dias, Mark Gendron, and Michael Mackler.
