To the Messina Family,

I was saddened to read of "Bubbie" Messina's recent death. I worked at the Louisiana Arts and Science Center in the 1980s and 1990s. Whenever we had cabinetry work for an exhibit, we called in Bubbie. His craftsmanship was fine and he was a great fellow. I know you have wonderful memories of him.

Josie, I am Annell Peek, I worked with you at the Old America Store and still remember you fondly. My sympathy goes out to you and your family, I just lost my husband two months ago, I wish I could tell you better how to cope with your loss but I can only say put it into the hands of the Lord to lead you and take it one day at a time.

Bubbie built a beautiful set of cabinets for our home in 1971. We still live in the house and to this day I marvel at their durability and his exceptional workmanship. May he rest in peace.

Mary Jean, our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family at this time. We have many memories of Bubbie helping us many times with his ideas and expertize, but most especially with his "touch" in helping us customize a desk for our son many years ago. May Our Lord and His Mother be with all of you during this time.
