He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jennie (Leto); one daughter, Jo Ann Guzzardo Sirchia and husband, Emile; one son, John Guzzardo and wife, Gina; grandchildren, Michael and Madonna Sirchia, Samantha Guzzardo O’Neill and husband, Paul; one brother, Mike Guzzardo and wife, BB; one sister, Ginger Henderson and husband, George “Buddy” and multiple nieces and nephews.
Sam is preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie Guzzardo; his brothers, Guy and Joe and his sister, Phine.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, June 30, 2017, from 9:00AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
