Sandra Jean Parker Bergeron

Bergeron, Sandra Jean ParkerSandra, 74, of Central, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 30, 2016 at her home. She was a graduate of Glen Oaks High School and was retired from AT&T. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. Sandra is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Bergeron, Sr; her children, Pam Fruge and husband David of Lake Charles, Toni Trahan of Central, and John Bergeron, Jr and wife Tammy of Central; six grandkids, Morgan, Blayne, Brittany, Forrest, Tiffany and Brandon; three great-grandkids, Riften, Naiya and Rorik; and a sister, Linda Tyson. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. Parker and Tena Mae Busby Parker; and two sisters, Joann Pickering and Judy Garner. Pallbearers will be Brandon Trahan, Blayne Bergeron, Forrest Bergeron, Tyler Bennett, Cody Stafford and Cody Pourcio. Sandra was an active member of Zoar Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd, Baton Rouge, on Thursday, June 2nd, from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Friday, June 3rd, from 9 am until religious services at 11 am conducted by Rev. Glen Miers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
