Sandra W Cash

Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. Wilson Sr. and Marie Brecheen Wilson; and her brother, James Cary Wilson. She was married to her loving husband Huey Thomas Cash Jr. for 63 years and together they have four children, Carey James Cash, Huey Duane Cash Sr. (Debi), Keith Stuart Cash (Trudy), and Monica Lynn Cash. She was a loving sister to her siblings James Cary Wilson, Robert Wesley Wilson Jr. (Charlene), Teresa Marie Wilson Burkette (Buddy), and Carol Wilson Fitch. Sandra was also a proud grandmother to Megan Potts, Sarah Potts, Lindsey Cash, Tyler Cash, Huey Duane Cash Jr., Michael Pearson, Brittany Weber, Samantha Cash Best, Brady Cash, Blake Cash, Cameron Turner, Carey Jayne Cash, Heather Howell, and a host of great-grandchildren.

Sandra was a devoted Christian woman and watched church services online from First Baptist Church in New Roads every Sunday morning. She was a retired employee of Louisiana State University where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. Sandra was an avid lover of puzzles and video games. She was often found playing on her computer or spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafting and crocheting. Sandra’s other pastimes included fishing, walking her dog, and spending time with her family Sandra will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 11 am until funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
