Sandra Ann "Sandy" Hunt

"Sandra Ann "Sandy" Hunt went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2018 at 2:50PM of cancer at Carpenter House. Age 55 years. A native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Central, LA. She was a retired Lieutenant in the Baton Rouge Police Department after 28 years of service. Sandy was preceded in death by mother Barbara Hunt. Survived by her father Clay Hunt, daughters, Brittni Hebert and husband Nick, and Heather Smith. Sister Susan Hunt, and brothers Larry Hunt, and Dennis Hunt. She was a devoted "Nana" to her grandchildren Maddison Vincent, Hayleigh Vincent, and Gracie Vincent. Pallbearers will be Jordan White, Larry Hunt, Joshua Hunt, Mark Weber, Nick Hebert, Joshua Harris. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM and again on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9 AM until 11 AM. Funeral service in the chapel of Rabenhorst East at 11 AM. Interment, Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
