A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 87 and a retired employee of the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board with 17 years of service. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., on Monday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael J. Moroney. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Sara is survived by a sister, Mary Vince, of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Anzalone; parents, Jasper and Josephine Alise Lamana; infant sister, Theresa Lamana; and four brothers, Jasper, Anthony, Joe and Sam Lamana. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Sara was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.
