Sarah is survived by her children, Tracy Landry Crow (Michael) and James Patrick “Bubba” Landry; her sister, Katherine Burton Higgins; her cherished grandchildren, Brenton Crow, Riker Crow, and James Case Landry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose love and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Family meant the world to her.
A devout Catholic with a servant’s heart, Sarah dedicated twenty-five years of faithful service as secretary at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church and as bookkeeper for the Redemptorist Fathers. She will be remembered by many for her cheerful spirit and willingness to help others.
Sarah was also well known for her delicious cooking—especially her famous mini loaves of pumpkin bread that she lovingly shared with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going antique shopping, and playing Pokeno with her sister and friends, moments that brought her great joy and laughter.
A memorial service celebrating Sarah's exceptional life will be held March 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with Mass at noon at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, followed by burial at Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park with reception at Greenoaks Life Celebration Reception Center. We invite all who knew and loved Sarah to join us in honoring her memory.
