Alejandro “Sebastian” Cordova was born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, on December 2, 2000. He tragically passed away on April 14, 2022, at the young age of 21, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he grew up. Sebastian attended St. Thomas More Catholic School and Catholic High where he was a member of MU Alpha Theta, Junior Classical League, and National Honor Society. He was a Student Ambassador and a member of the Catholic High Fishing Team, as well as a National Merit Semifinalist and a National Hispanic Scholar. Sebastian spent many hours volunteering at Gaitway Therapeutic Horsemanship, was a former server at Chimes East, and was currently working as a scribe for Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. A junior at LSU and a member of Melvin Research Group, he was a chemical engineer major with plans to apply to medical school. Among Sebastian’s passions were baseball and kayaking, and he could be found fishing rain or shine during his free time. He also loved hanging out with his friends.
