Ms. Sharon “Miga” O’Neill Garrido, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Ms. Sharon was born in Hollywood, Florida on June 16, 1942, to parents, Shannon and Florence O’Neill.
Sharon was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoyed her dogs, birds, knitting, reading and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sons, Michael Garrido (Patti), Sean Garrido (Bridget), Neal Garrido (Donnella) and Kelly Garrido (Tiffany)’ grandchildren, Erica Lee (Beau), Jonathon Garrido (Paige), Gabrielle Garrido, Adrian Garrido (Gabby), Alexander Garrido, and Lauren Garrido, great-grandchildren, Layla, Noah, Eli, Leighton, Lawson, and Hadassah and her three foster grandchildren, Peter, Lyn, and Paisley.
Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charlie Garrido, and her parents Shannon and Florence O’Neill.
The family will have a private service at Greenoaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
