Shawn Paul Contine, 32, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed peacefully from the world Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, to be with his Popee. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. His hobbies included music, anything mechanical and most especially playing ball with his nephew, Nathaniel. He is survived by his father, Michael Adrien Contine; mother, Bridget Ann Daigle; brother, Dustin Michael Contine; nephew, Nathaniel Pierce Contine; maternal grandmother, Victoria Daigle; paternal grandmother, Virginia Contine; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 10 a.m. until service at noon. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
