Sherry B. May passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the age of 50. She was resident of Central and a native of Baton Rouge. Sherry was a Pharmacist at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet. She is survived by her husband, Billy May, her father, Charlie Bates and other mother Kellie Bates; her daughters, Elizabeth May, Cheryl Young and family; a son, Paul May; sister, Karrie Burks and family; brothers, twin brother, Garry Bates and family, Mike Paxton and family and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Bates and nephew Elijah Bates. Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at Florida Blvd Baptist Church starting at 3:00pm until memorial services at 6:00pm. She loved the Lord and her church.
