Sherry was my beautiful cousin. Our mothers were sisters. Sherry was born 11 days after me so, we were close as children. I remember sleepovers at my house and hers. Later, They lived in Baton Rouge on Perimeter street and I lived in Livingston, so we couldn’t spend as much time together. These last few years, we have communicated more, especially on FB. I always thought she was beautiful. She had beautiful black hair like our mothers. I never saw her lose her temper. I can hear her laugh right now and see that beautiful smile.

She was fortunate enough to meet her soul mate in high school. Together they loved and raised 2 really precious children and have enjoyed those grandkids and great grandchild.

David, Stacy, Adam and your beautiful families, Know that I loved Sherry with all my heart and will miss her so much.

I hope you don’t mind but I wanted to share a photo of me and Sherry when we were babies.

David, Adam and Stacy I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Sherry was always so nice to me. I know she loved all of you and especially her grandchildren. It showed in the way she talked about them. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
