"A Love That Lasts Till Eternity!" Shirley Nell Seals LeBlanc passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her children and her loving, devoted husband, who lay sick by her side. She was born on November 20, 1937 in Washington Parish, LA, formerly from Baton Rouge and currently lives in Walker, LA. Shirley was a homemaker and retired from EBRP School System. Shirley's most important and rewarding job was being a faithful wife of 55 years to Russell Joseph LeBlanc. Shirley is survived by her loving children, Greg LeBlanc and wife Pam, Paul LeBlanc, Barry LeBlanc and wife Wendi, Darryl LeBlanc, and devoted daughter Pamela McDonald and husband Mark. She is survived by her precious grandchildren, Jason LeBlanc, Sha LeBlanc, Alysha LeBlanc, Jon LeBlanc, Bradley LeBlanc, Dustin LeBlanc, LCPL Ryan McCallum, Leanne LeBlanc, Brennan LeBlanc, Jordan LeBlanc, Hannah McDonald, Joshua McDonald, Trenton LeBlanc, and Ethan LeBlanc. Great grandchildren, Alyssa, Landon, Elijah, and Jace. Sister, Doris Reid. Sisters-in-law, Doycie Marquette and Marjorie Seals. Daughters of the heart, Karen and Barbara Marquette, Kay LeBlanc Purvis and Allye LeBlanc. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nellie Seals. Brothers, Olen and Clayton Seals. Sisters, Helen Thomas, Hilda Brumley, Kathleen Fasola and Lois Nelson. She was also cherished and loved by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her longtime physician, Dr. Lara Falcon. Also, our sincere gratitude to the staff of North Oaks Hospice, who gave mom, her family and husband not only exceptional care, but comfort, love and compassion daily. Mom was a woman of strength and determination. Days will come and go, but your love and memory will forever be in our hearts. We love you Mommy! Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., conducted by the Rev. T.W. Terral. Visitation will resume Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the religious service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
