Stan was born Feb. 15, 1949, inPasadena, Texasand passed away Nov. 19, 2006, at his home in Prairieville after a brief but hard battle with cancer. Stan moved to the Baton Rougearea 18 years ago to work with The Shaw Group. He is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Lisa Duckett and husband David, Theresa Hobdy and husband Daryl, Scott Stanley and wife Karen, and Allison Stanley; his dear grandchildren, Robin, Rebecca and Renee Duckett of LaPorte, Texas, Amanda, Alex and Alyssa Hobdy of Baton Rouge, Jessica and Jared Stanley of Indianapolis. Stan is also survived by his brother, Felix and wife Brenda of Clear Lake, Texas; sister, Betty Glenn and husband Coy of Crosby, Texas; nieces, Vicki Monroe, Pasadena, Texas, Allison Morris, Trenton, Ga., Stacey Noessel, Clear Lake, Jim Cochran, Crosby; and great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Felix O. and Willie Goode Noessel; and sister, Billie Thompson. Stan requested a private memorial service.
